Welcome to St Mary Magdalene & St Stephen's CE Primary School, a friendly and ambitious one-form-entry Church of England primary school in Westminster, where every child is known, valued and encouraged to thrive. We are proud to be part of the Central London Church School Partnership, along with two local schools.
Situated alongside the Grand Union Canal, our school is within easy reach of Westbourne Park, Little Venice and Warwick Avenue. We are proud to serve our diverse local community and welcome children and families of all faiths and none.

Exceptional outdoor space in the heart of London
One of the things that makes our school particularly special is the amount of outdoor space available to our children—something increasingly rare for an inner-city London primary school.
Our extensive grounds give children opportunities to play safely, explore nature and develop healthy, active lifestyles. Facilities include a large sports pitch, climbing frame, soft-play area, climbing wall, table football and table tennis.
Our outdoor learning environment also includes a beautifully designed garden with a stage, pond and woven teepee. Children are encouraged to explore and experience nature, and we make full use of our outdoor environment as an extension of the classroom.
More than the school day
Our broad and creative curriculum is complemented by a range of after-school enrichment clubs, giving children opportunities to discover new interests, develop their talents and enjoy experiences beyond the classroom.
We also recognise the importance of flexible childcare for working families. Our extended-day provision includes Breakfast Club from 7:30am and Kidz Club House after-school childcare until 6:00pm, alongside enrichment clubs running from 3:30–4:30pm.
The school day begins at 8:45am and finishes at 3:25pm for Nursery and 3:30pm for Reception to Year 6.
