Board of Governors

Hello! We are another part of the St Mary Magdalene & St Stephen's Family – the Governing Board.

The Governing Board of St Mary Magdalene & St Stephen’s CE Primary School meets regularly to discuss the running of the school and look at what might make MMSTS even better! Our Governors are dedicated to making sure that all our children are safe, well supported, achieve their potential and enjoy school.

In a nutshell, we are responsible for ensuring:

• the vision, ethos and strategic direction of the school are clearly defined
• the Executive Head and the Head of School carry out their responsibilities for the educational performance of the school
• the sound, proper and effective use of the school’s financial resources

Governors are often in school so if you see us, do please come and say hello! In addition, your feedback is important to us so if you have any comments, suggestions or concerns, please let us know.

You can contact us through the Co-Chairs or the Clerk to the Governing Board, Pete McGuigan. Please address anything to us at the school office.
