Courageous Advocacy and Fundraising

Courageous Advocacy

This is defined as the act of speaking out against an issue of injustice often on behalf of those who do not have a voice or on behalf of those whose voices can not be heard.

To support the school's ethos of Courageous Advocacy, at the start of each school year each class selects an issue and charity that they raise funds and awareness for throughout the year.

Fundraising

The whole school is involved, from the tiniest tots in Nursery to the tallest pre-teens in Year 6 (and of course parents and teachers too). We do this because, as a community, we are aware of the impact we can make to those less fortunate in our community and other people around the world.  Our values help us to understand how important it is to care about others and do our best to help where we can.

Some of the charities we support include:

Jeans for Genes day https://www.jeansforgenesday.org/

Children in Need https://www.bbcchildreninneed.co.uk/fundraisinghub

The North Paddington Food Bank http://www.npfoodbank.org.uk/
